Formally trained in academic art and goldsmithing, I make non-traditional jewelry objects that speak directly to and of a moment in time. Objects that tell a story about the body while on the body. Each moment is different. The materials used in each piece are crucial to the telling of each story.
My choice of materials, whether traditional or non-traditional, follows each concept. Each piece is constructed through a dialogue between the material movement and its place in culture. Through photographic expressions pieces are documented on the body to fully communicate the relationship between object, body, and environment.
