2014  Adjunct Professor, Wartburg College, Waverly, IA. Instructor of Record; Jewelry: Art and non-art majors are introduced to basic metalsmithing techniques, contemporary and traditional examples of metalsmithing, as well as conceptual jewelry works. Students learn to saw, file, sand, apply surface treatments, cold connections, soldering, simple mechanisms, and work with non-traditional materials. May Term 2014.

2013 Educational Studio Assistant, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Gatlinburg, TN. Prepare studios for upcoming workshops, prepare nightly slide show presentations, maintain closing schedule, gather needed supplies to visiting instructors, prepare glass kilns/glass furnace, maintenance for soldering tanks, flex shafts, forming steaks, and varies jewelry tools. June-July.

2012 Research Assistant, University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA. Assist Professor Kee-ho Yuen with various tasks throughout the department, prepare publications for visiting artists, and create a visual library. Spring Semester.

2010 Studio Assistant, University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, IA. Assistant to Professor Erica Duffy-Voss during the Jewelry One Course, prepared technical samples, assisted in classroom to discuss sketches and construction, kept office hours. Fall 2010.

2009-2010 Outreach/Technical Intern, University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls IA. General maintenance, studio inventory, prepared technical samples for beginning level courses, kept office hours to answer construction questions, and compiled a booklet of social outreach artists throughout the world. 

2008 Apprentice Goldsmith, Roth Jewelers, Waterloo, IA. Check and clean customer jewelry, resize rings, repair chains, polish, and re-plate jewelry.

2008 Apprentice, Manufacture/Repair, david lee jeweler, Mason City, IA. Learned work in silver and gold, resize rings, re-tip prongs, repair chain, carve wax, set stones, vacuum cast, polish. Assisted in a wholesale trade show.
